The name “Trilby” also has stage origins; Daphne George du Maurier’s novel was adapted as a play, and one production featured the title character wearing a hat which was then named for her.
As for the photo, under that hat is the expression of a man standing in Butler’s Chocolate Café on Wicklow Street in Dublin, watching them fill the box of chocs he’s just ordered for DD, with the certain knowledge that he’ll get a few in due course.
The fedora is a Banana Republic Safari hat; now about 36 years old and in need of maintenance - like Bagpuss, “saggy and a bit loose at the seams”, but I’m hardly one to make comments on that score… :-P

Doesn't make sense for Tom Hiddleston to agree with a plot that won't serve loki right - or his relationship with sylvie, I mean wasn't he pushing for a romantic plot for loki since 2013? And he's mayde it clear how much he cares for sylki. Plus don't forget he's also executive producer for the show. We know that everything since s1 has his personal stamp of approval. So it's safe to say, whatever happened / is going to happen in s2, he gave the green light. I trust him the most, to be honest.
The episodes are quite long this season, in contrast to s1. It's over 2 hours of material left, that's longer than most movies. There's still plenty of time. And there's still the possibility for a 3rd season, it's actually very, very likely that marvel will go for it, with their interest in creating multiple seasons shows and well, loki is the only safe choice for this. Loki (and Tom ) is a goldmine, and they know it.
Plus loki and sylvie will definitely be part of the future mcu films, we already know that mobius will be in deadpool 3. And Isn't Michael Waldron confirmed screenwriter for Secret Wars? It's possible they want to stretch out their story in the movies.
Just saying, just because there are only 2 episodes left, there's no need to be disappointed.

Reblogging because I cannot emphasize enough how much say Tom Hiddleston has in what goes on in the Loki series. I don’t know if some people don’t know it or are just choosing to ignore it. But every time I hear someone say that Loki is somehow “out of character” I just wonder if they realize they’re arguing with Tom.
If there anyone who will do right by Loki, it’s Tom.
